Badged Apprenticeships
Badged Apprenticeships is a unique project that sees local apprentices getting involved with Liverpool's Capital of Culture programme.
Young people on Apprenticeships in retail, hospitality, tourism or leisure are accessing a range of FREE cultural workshops that capture the amazing creative learning opportunities 2008 brings. These workshops include animation, digital photography, stand-up comedy, tv and radio production.
Some of Liverpool's foremost cultural and creative establishments are involved including Liverpool Philharmonic and Tate Liverpool.
Companies who employ apprentices in the tourism, retail or hospitality sectors can seize the opportunity to have their young staff receive free training in a range of skills covered in the one day workshops. These include communication, interpersonal and team working skills as well as specific media and cultural skills.
