Apprenticeships offer nationally recognised vocational training (NVQs) in most sectors and bring many business benefits including:

• Improved productivity: Apprenticeships provide young people with the skills necessary to perform their job competently, as well as motivation
• Relevant training: Apprenticeships training is designed in consultation with employers in each sector. This means the skills taught are relevant and tailored to businesses' needs.
• Better retention: It has been shown that employers who use Apprenticeships tend to retain their staff thanks to the increased motivation of the young people
